Q: Can I still join St John’s 6th Form if I have not attained a level 4 in GCSE English & Maths?
Answer: You are permitted to join the 6th Form and re-sit ONE of the above. These will be timetabled lessons. You would need to find an alternative provider if you did not pass both English Language and Maths (Level 4), as it would be difficult to place you on 3 Level 3 courses, without having this academic currency. If you attained a Level 4 in English Literature but a Level 3 in English Language, you would still be required to re-sit GCSE English Language. Re-sit exams take place in November and July.
