Today, 50 of our Year 12 and 13 students had the incredible opportunity to take part in Crime Day at Teesside University. The event was designed to be truly interactive, giving students a hands-on experience of how modern crimes are solved.
The day began with students watching a pre-recorded crime scenario unfold, setting the stage for an immersive learning experience. From there, they explored the university’s cutting-edge labs and even stepped into a replica courtroom. Throughout the day, they discovered the different roles and approaches taken by crime scene scientists, cybersecurity specialists, criminologists, and legal professionals in tackling complex investigations.
This unique experience not only showcased the fascinating world of crime and justice but also highlighted the importance of collaboration across disciplines. Our students left feeling inspired, engaged, and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in these fields.
A huge thank you to Teesside University for hosting such a fantastic event!
