A-Level Results Day 2026 - Maths star earns all As as she sets her sights on a career in finance
“One of our most gifted students” is how St John’s Catholic School and Sixth Form College Headteacher Lisa Byron sums up Maths whizz Imogen. Imogen not only finished her Maths A-Level in 2025 – a year early and earning a top A* grade – but today also secured an A* in Further Maths and an A in Chemistry at the Bishop Auckland school.

Champion gymnast, Hannah, is one of the students celebrating today after securing top A-Level grades. Balancing her studies at St John’s Catholic School and Sixth Form College, in Bishop Auckland, with her training as part of the England Acrobatic Gymnastic Squad presented challenges, but Hannah’s dedication and determination won through.
