Year 13 student Beth Teasdale plays football for the Newcastle Under 21s Women’s Team. They compete in the Professional Game Academy, playing against other academy teams from across England.

Beth says that playing at this level has given her great experience, and in the future she hopes to use what she has learned to work in the sports industry.

Alongside her football commitments, Beth studies RE, Criminology and BTEC Sport. She successfully balances her sporting life with her academic work — something that requires organisation, commitment and resilience. These qualities will support her well in the future.
